Fleetwood GL Series Slicers

Fleetwood/Skyfood has just introduced new slicing machines: the GL series.  We are proud to stock the 10" GL250 as well as the 12" GL300. 

These medium-duty commercial meat slicers are specifically designed for operations with moderate to low volume slicing needs.  They are complete with rounded one piece cast aluminum body with anodized finish, a top mounted guarded sharpener and safety rear ring guard for safe operation, stainless steel blades, removable carriage and blade covers, dual action knife sharpeners.  Te blade is solid with hollow ground and high angle non-smear bevel made of stainless steel alloy with stain resistant finish; the knife rotates on dual bearing hub for smooth even slicing.  Gravity chute at 30 degree angle.  These machines are easy to clean, economical and compact.

These slicers fit into the category of belt-drive slicers.  To review from our previous post, belt drive slicers are ideal if you will be cutting low, medium, or medium-high volume, not too much cheese, and nothing frozen.  

The GL models are complete with slight gravity feed.  The 10" has the space-saving benefits of a compact slicer, while the 12" will save time and preparation cutting commercially packaged deli meats.
